April 7th. hello again..

hello music fans. how the devil are you? seems like ages since we last spoke. sun drunched afternoons lying in a field listening to your favorite band are just around the corner so hang in there wont you now. i'm pleased to let you know that my band and I have just finished making an ep which should be making it's way to your local torrent very soon. We went to the Dairy in Brixton two weeks ago with producer Danton Supple and spent a couple of days recording everything live. Apart from the odd tambourine hit it was all recorded live; no over dubs just a great band playing, if I may, some very great songs.
you can hear two of the seven tracks we recorded on the myspace page . The rest will follow shortly. Drop me a line and lemme know what you think; there's a mountain of video footage i'm getting through so should be posting some clips this week.
We're doing a show at the water rats this thursday at 8pm; hope to see you there, drop me a line and i'll get you in. other than that, today is day 9 on the patches and apart from the odd piece of broken furniture; i'm doing alright.

so, I was just gonna listen and enjoy, and then in your blog you said 'drop me a line' so never one to be contrary, I thought I would

'Let it Begin' is just so darn perky. I am strongly in favor of perky; there is far too much cranky already. will someone please tell those guys in system of a down? "down dow-n down, whoah oh oooh" indeed. must add more 'whoahs' to my own songs.

'The Rescue' feels more serious, but still positive. I think that's where you grab me, franc; all that sunny positivity. at my age, you finally realize that happy and perky are way more important than one's angsty teen years would indicate.

just (finally!) ordered 'glue' and deeply seriously looking forward to whatever this new ep will be called, so we can get that too. and then, the huge world tour with two nights in northern California so we can soak it all up.

thanks muchly

Good luck with the patches - persevere! You can do anything you truly want to do!

Loved GLue, really love "Let It Begin" ! I think you're starting to get your 'authors voice' really together - keep up the good work. (Still available with my P-bass or if you need some keys for fun).
